SCRIP Fundraising Program

Remaining Scrip Cards Sold from Inventory

SCRIP Program at Spectrum Phasing Out by December 31, 2017

For a number of years, Spectrum has made available to its families the opportunity to purchase SCRIP Cards for local retailers to help raise funds for Spectrum athletics and help families pay school fees throughout the school year. Over the last two years, the school has completed an audit of our SCRIP Program. Unfortunately, after a cost-benefit analysis, it has been determined that the school will be phasing out the SCRIP Program by December 31, 2017.

Over the next two months, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the remaining inventory of SCRIP cards available at the school. A full list has been posted in the section above. These make great gifts for the upcoming holiday season, and only cost the actual face value of the cards, while also helping the school. The last SCRIP order will be placed on Monday, December 18, 2017. Presto Pay will not be active after Sunday, December 17.

Fundraising is an important part of providing exceptional programming for Spectrum students. Parents and students are encouraged to continue taking advantage of all of the other fundraising opportunities available to them throughout the school year. For example, the Annual Sting Swing Golf Tournament, which took place on Friday, September 29, was a huge success due to the many parents, staff, students, and community members contributions and time investment.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Note: Families with balances of $5 or more remaining in their SCRIP Program account as of December 31, 2017, will have the option to either have the balance paid out or to donate it to the school. If you have an account, please watch for an email regarding this in January 2018. Balances less than $5 will be donated to the athletic program. Please contact Amy White, Business Assistant, at with any SCRIP Program related questions.
